Safe & Well-Tolerated

BrainsWay Deep TMS treatment for depression and OCD is a non-invasive, outpatient procedure.  Sessions last approximately 20 minutes, no anesthesia is required, and patients are able to resume normal activities immediately after treatment.

Clinical trials that led to FDA-clearance demonstrated no systemic side effects, unlike antidepressants that have been shown in many cases to result in significant side effects, including nausea, insomnia, weight gain, fatigue, and even suicidal thoughts.

Complementary Treatment

Deep TMS is not intended to replace evidence-based psychotherapy or medication, but rather offers a strong complementary medical device treatment option for patients that do not respond sufficiently to cognitive behavioral therapy, such as exposure-and-response prevention, or antidepressants alone.

Patients and clinicians report that in their practice, the use of Deep TMS has enabled patient's symptoms to improve to a degree that makes them more capable of participating fully in CBT exercises and complying with medication regimens.
